Metal Rolls & Rings

We are the Rolls & Rings manufacturing company in North India, growing at a fast pace since its inception in the year 2008. We are proud of our strategic achievements.

ALLOY STEEL BASE ROLLS & RINGS (ADAMITE)

Alloy Steel Rolls & Rings are alloyed with Nickel, Chromium, Manganese and Molybdenum with Carbon content between 0.50% and 1.50% as well as little amount of Vanadium is also added to improve mechanical strength with thermal and wear resistance. These Rolls & Rings undergo a sophisticated multi-stage Heat Treatment to give hardness and toughness required for application. The lower Carbon grades will have a structure consisting of ferrite and fine Pearlite which, as the Carbon content is raised, transitions to a fully Pearlitic Structure and on to one containing free carbide in a matrix of fine Pearlite and even some Bainite for the highest Carbon grades.

Type of Rolls Typical Hardness(Shore°C)
SCM 38 35-40
SCM 43 40-45
SCM 48 45-50
SCM 52 50-55

SPHEROIDAL GRAPHITE (NODULAR) CAST IRON (S.G.I. PEARLITIC) ROLL & RINGS

These Rolls & Rings are essentially an Indefinite Chill type material, treated with megnesium which converts the Graphite in Nodular form instead of flake and having alloyed with higher % of Carbon Nickel & Molybdenum along with copper for much higher Mechanical Strength.

S.G.I. BAINITIC ACCICULAR ROLLS & RINGS

These Rolls & Rings are stronger and more wear resistance with respect of S.G.I. Pearlitic Rolls and Rings are capable of much higher hardness because S.G.I. Bainitic Accicular is more alloyed with very higher % of Nickel and Molybdenum than the S.G.I. Pearlitic. The name of this material is based on its constituents of nodular graphite and carbides (needle-like) bainitic matrix, also called Lower Baintic.

ALLOY INDEFINITE CHILLED IRON ROLLS

Alloys Indefinite Chill Iron Rolls have a flake structure graphite with few carbides in a Pearlitic Matrix. The presence of flake graphite improves spalling resistance and also enhances resistance to fire-cracking. Alloy Indefinite Chill are very suitable for rolling flats sections and TMT Smith. Due to alloy additions, hardness penetration is better than that of a clear chill roll and this material may be used in applications with deeper grooves such as small and medium section rolling and also for finishing billets.
